A fast-growing California-based pharmacy firm is significantly expanding its Plano office.
Alto Pharmacy brought its service to North Texas in 2020.
The San Francisco-based pharmacy firm was founded in 2015 and is growing across the country with its digital home delivery service.
Alto Pharmacy currently serves customers in California, Seattle, Denver, Las Vegas, New York City, Houston and the Dallas area.
The company has offices in San Francisco, Denver and Plano and employs more than 1,000 people for its operations.
Alto Pharmacy is enlarging its office in International Business Park in Plano to more than 40,000 square feet. The company is at 6201 W. Plano Parkway near the Dallas North Tollway.
“That office operates on the fourth floor and we are now building out the third floor,” an Alto Pharmacy representative said in an email.
Alto Pharmacy also has an operation on State Highway 121 in Lewisville. “The Lewisville location is our pharmacy for fulfilling deliveries in the area,” the company says.
International Business Park is a 300-acre development of Dallas’ Billingsley Co. The mixed-use project north of Bush Turnpike includes about a dozen office buildings with almost 2 million square feet.
Billingsley Co. and general contractor Adolfson & Peterson Construction are currently building a five-story, 250,000-square-foot office building in the business park.
The new building is across the street from where Alto Pharmacy is expanding its office footprint.
